Stratiolaelaps scimitus (formerly Hypoaspis miles) – predatory mite highly diluted

V. D. Kaviraj describes in his book "Homeopathy for Gardening and Agriculture", ISBN 978-3-939931-62-1 how he and his team initially experimented with the potentiation of pests such as lice, whiteflies, caterpillars, etc. Since the results of the application were not satisfactory, they looked at the predators of the respective pests. The working group found that natural predators as homeopathic applications showed good results in pest displacement.

This idea can be taken up and applied to the predators of the red bird mite and the Varroa mite. Both types of mite are widely known in poultry farming and beekeeping and play a painful role here.

Hypoaspis miles, the old name of the predatory mite Stratiolaelaps scimitus, feeds on, among other things, fungus gnats, springtails, marsh flies, thrips pupae, apple rust mites, smallpox mites, curl mites, fruit tree spider mites, bird mites, blood mites, snake mites, Varroa mites and others.

Dosage suggestion from customers:

Chicken coop: approx. 12 globules in 15 liters of spray solution (e.g. backpack sprayer)

Bee hive: as above for spraying or 3 globules in one liter of water/nutrient solution to mix with the feed
