12 light root bulbillae, at least 11 mm Ø

4 part breeding house
The bulbils can be planted from February 2nd if they are in a frost-free location.
This could be in the apartment or on the sheltered balcony.
The soil needs to be kept moist, but not wet or dry for the tender roots to develop.
After the ice saints, the plants can be planted out in a raised bed or in the garden.
A climbing aid is then required here, such as bamboo poles or cords. The shoots twist clockwise (like a normal screw) around the offered climbing opportunity.
If the upper layer of soil is supplied with mature compost, the light roots will be happy and will thrive particularly well.
The harvest takes place in autumn when the shoots can be easily pulled off the tuber.
